It was all bright sunlight and warm breezes on the French Riviera when Tommy Angel arrived that June to take over as skipper of the fabulous yacht Twin Tempest. Quite different from his three-year stint in prison for a crime he didn't commit. Tommy knew he was innocent and had been neatly framed, but now, after the murder of a not-so-innocent girl, he'd just about given up trying to prove it. And before it was all over, quite a number of beautiful people in quite a few beautiful gathering places were changed in permanent ways, some of them with bullets from Tommy Angel's own gun.
