About Susan B. Katz
Susan B. Katz is an award-winning, Spanish-bilingual author/illustrator with Scholastic, Penguin Random House, S&S, Bala Kids, Heinemann, Callisto/Rockridge and Barefoot Books. She has ten published books, one of which she wrote in Spanish for Scholastic, and 12 more books coming out in 2020/2021 with Simon & Schuster, Heinemann and Rockridge Press! MEDITATION STATION, a picture book about trains and mindfulness, is forthcoming with Bala Books (Shambhala) this fall and just won the International Book Award for Best Mind/Body/Spirit Children’s Book. Susan also has eight chapter book biographies due out in 2020/2021. THE STORY OF RUTH BADER GINSBURG, THE STORY OF FRIDA KAHLO and THE STORY OF JANE GOODALL are the first three titles in that series. For the past 25 years, Ms. Katz worked as a bilingual elementary educator, National Board Certified Teacher and literacy specialist.
