Scott Fischer has worked on children's books such as Peter Pan in Scarlet, Secrets of Dripping Fang,The Magisterium Series, Between the Lines,[9] the Scary School series, and Ghost Prison. The first book of The Magisterium Series, The Iron Trial (2014), hit third on the New York Times Middle Grade Bestseller List. In addition to illustrating several children's books, he both wrote and illustrated the book Jump!.Fischer designed the jacket for Perdition, the first book in Ann Aguirre's 2013 Dred Chronicles series from Ace Books.
