Larry Dane BrimnerLarry Dane Brimner made his dubut in children's books with the publication of BMX Freestyle (Franklin Watts, 1987). Readers responded by naming it an International Reading Association Children's Choice book in 1988). The success of this title was followed by Country Bear's Good Neighbor (Orchard, 1988), which Booklist called "a sweet and friendly book" and the American Booksellers Association named their "Pick of the Lists." Most recently, Snowboarding (Franklin Watts, 1998) was named a Children's Choice book for 1998 by the IRA.
When he's not traveling to speak to school children about the writing process, or to conferences to address teachers, Larry lives in Southern California.
