About Ibby Greer
(Ibby) Taylor Greer is a native of Springfield, Illinois. Educated at Blessed Sacrament School in Springfield, Florida's Gulfstream School and Palm Beach Day School, she is a graduate of The Westover School in Middlebury, Connecticut, holds a B.A. with Honors and Phi Beta Kappa from Hollins College in Virginia, an M.A. in Comparative Literature (18th Century French, German, and English novel) from the University of Colorado, and studied German at the University of Vienna in 1976. Living near the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia in an ante-bellum home and married to retired lawyer T. Keister Greer, she divides her time between being a mom to a college son, writing, serving on civic boards, and oil painting in her studio. She is at work on a collection of "babyboom" poems, a second novel, and a one-woman show of her art.
