About Carron Brown

Carron has worked in books since she graduated from university, but even as a child she wrote and illustrated her own diary. Growing up in the Highlands of Scotland with a view of both mountains and the sea from her bedroom window, she wrote and illustrated her own guidebooks to the wildlife she saw and spent a lot of time in the woods looking for beetles. She now edits, writes and indexes a great variety of non-fiction titles, and is always learning something new.
