About Rebecca Lawton
Becca Lawton is fluvial geologist and former Grand Canyon river guide who holds an MFA in creative writing from Mills College in Oakland, CA. Her writing honors include a Fulbright Visiting Research Chair, Ellen Meloy Award for Desert Writers, and WILLA for softcover fiction. Her most recent books are Swimming Grand Canyon and Other Poems (Finishing Line Press, 2021) and the Nautilus Award-winning The Oasis This Time: Living and Dying with Water in the West (Torrey House Press, 2019).
