Tears of Silence
By Jean VanierJean Vanier was educated in England and Canada and for several years served as a professional officer in the Royal Navy and the Royal Canadian Navy. In 1964, he founded a village for mentally deficient adults in Paris, France. There he makes his home and carries on his life's work which now includes the establishment of similar centres in other parts of the world including far-off India. He frequently comes to Canada to speak and to conduct seminars.
