About Julia Navarro

Julia Navarro has been dedicated to journalism for more than thirty years, working in the main media outlets in this country, both in the written press and on radio and television.

After publishing several books on current politics such as Nosotros, la tranción; Between Felipe and Aznar; The coming left, and Mrs. President, dared with the novel and achieved unprecedented success in Spain. His first title, The Brotherhood of the Holy Shroud, was for weeks at the top of the sales charts both in Spain and abroad. The Clay Bible and The Blood of the Innocents, his following novels, also set in the Middle Ages, strengthened his prestige among critics and the public, totaling more than three million copies sold worldwide, with translations in more than thirty countries, including Italy, Germany, Portugal, Russia, Korea, Japan, the United Kingdom and the United States. They have also received numerous awards such as the QuéLeer Award for the best Spanish novel of 2004,


Julia Navarro is a Spanish novelist and journalist. She is the daughter of Spanish journalist, Felipe Navarro "Yale." After writing books on current affairs and politics, she published her first novel 'The Brotherhood of the Holy Shroud', which was on best-seller lists, both in Spain and abroad.

Navarro has been a journalist since 1983. She has contributed to Spanish media outlets Cadena SER, Cadena Cope, Telecinco, Canal Sur, and OTR Agency/Europa Press. She began her professional career during Spain’s transition to democracy. She reported on the journalistic era that she lived through, writing ongoing analysis on the country’s social evolution toward a new constitution in 1978. Currently, she is a political analyst for OTR Agency/Europa Press and a frequent editorial writer on political issues for Escaño Cero1. In addition, from 2010-2011, she participated in political roundtable discussions on the television program [:esMadrid_opina|Madrid opina] on the Telemadrid network.
