About Jo Ann Bender
Jo Ann Bender's writing career began with news reporting. Then she branched into public relations and later became owner of a marketing firm which offers courses to the construction and engineering industry. The author of Touching the Other End of Life, Curse of the Red Jaguar (a PBS radio drama), and the reading cookbook, Favorites from the Lazy Bee, she now devotes her time to writing fiction. She enjoys walking in the footsteps of her characters, and lives with her husband near the Canadian border in a rustic lodge they built with timber from their land.
