About Beatrice Hair
A passionate advocate for children, Beatrice Hair has enjoyed a successful 16-year career in education. A graduate of Wake Forest University, Hair earned two degrees, including a B.A. in Education. She earned her Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from University of Phoenix. First a public school teacher and now owner and director of the Salisbury Tutoring Academy, LTD, Hair founded the school in 1996. Hairs school serves many students with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). The Rowan-Salisbury Board of Education awarded Hair the CHADD Award for her outstanding work with ADHD children. She created a teaching strategy to help children, many with ADHD, which has proven successful for more than 1,000 students. She has taught hundreds of teachers how to use this tool.
