Ramon Makes a Trade
By Barbara RitchieRamon has no money but he has made a beautiful orange pot in his father's pottery. He could sell it but knows that next to his father's pottery, his lone pot will not look as beautiful, so he decides to trade with it. Ramon wants to take home a wonderful green parrot who already knows how to say two phrases. But the parrot seller won't trade his wares for only one small pot, instead, he will trade for one of Ramon's father's large water pots, which means Ramon must find a way to trade up, or find a way to earn more money than he's ever had in his life.
